So I have a new obsession. I LOVE taking newborn photos in the family’s home. There are so many benefits from having your session at your house instead of in a studio. Let me explain…
The first reason I love doing these in home as opposed to a studio is for your convenience. Having a new baby is already stressful enough and leaving home is never easy. Did you remember a bottle? Extra diapers? Outfit changes for baby, you, and your significant other? What if the baby has a blowout and needs to be changed? No need to worry because you have it all right there!
These pictures are always more intimate. It is easier for families to relax and really enjoy getting their pictures taken in their own home. I also love that these capture “real life.”
Your furry friends can easily be included. I am a firm believer that our fur babies are family also and that they need to be included in your family pictures.
Lastly, sometimes babies aren’t in the mood for a studio session. The in home session gives more flexibility and makes sure that you are able to make the most of the session.
